I've been getting the feeling lately that life is just shooting on by me. There are so many things that I want to do and see, but before you know it I'm going to be old, wrinkly and claiming my pension. Okay, so now I'm being a drama queen, but I am well on my way to 30 and I do have loads of things I'd like to achieve. Especially before, scary thought here, kids come on the scene. Just to clarify, Mum, Dad, I have no plans to have children just yet, so no 'I'd love to be a Grandma' comments for at least the next 5 years please! Thanking you kindly.
So I've been creating a list. My 30 before 30 list. Bearing in mind my 30th birthday is actually only just over three years away this may be a tad ambitious. But, as Woody would say, 'reach for the sky!'
1. Read all of Jane Austen's novels
2. Get married -
3. Own a dog
4.
5. Go on a holiday to Canada
6. Visit my best friend and her hubby in their new home in Quatar
7. Line manage someone
9. Go and watch a Formula 1 Grand Prix race - Don't mind which, but preferably the Japanese one. Ha!
10. Create my dream cottage garden
11. Road trip across America - I told you I was being ambitious. Hugely so!
12. See Phantom of the Opera in the West End
13. Go to a music festival
14. Decorate our home, just the way we want it
15. Learn another language to a basic level
16. Do a marathon distance open water swim - I think that's 10 km in swimming terms.
17. Collect all of the Penguin Classics clothbound books
18. Run a half marathon
20. Go to the top of the Empire State Building
21. Have a stall at a craft fair
22. Buy a vintage type writer in either baby pink or blue
24. Have 1000 people following my blog
25. Complete the National Three Peaks Challenge
26. Be happy with my weight
27. Read all the Harry Potter books
28. Go and eat strawberries and cream at Wimbledon - and watch some tennis of course.
29. Make 100 sales in my Folksy store.
30. Knit the fawn poncho and bear hoodie that I've bought the patterns for.
Eeeks. Typing that out has scared the living daylights out of me. Which one to start with? If I manage to do all of these in three years I will be some kind of hero. Do any of you guys have a list? Link me up!

Do you know you could make steps towards most of these in one day! And a few of them only take a phone call, writing a date in a diary or a purchase? YOU CAN DO IT : )
