After reading the latest GoodHomes magazine, which is full of festive fantabulousness, I am fully in the Christmas spirit and ready to decorate my house from head to tinsely toes. Here are a few Christmas ideas I have come across so far.
My plan is to make my own wrapping paper this year. How about buying a festive stamp, some brown wrapping paper and some red ribbon, and making your own this year too?
Paper chains are perfect for decorating the fire place.
Not that I've cooked a Christmas dinner in my life. The problem is I wouldn't want to only be able to use this at Christmas.
These placemats are lovely and would bring a winter flurry to anyones Christmas table. They also have matching coasters priced currently at £6.
Anything with a deer or reindeer on and I am sold. This bauble is gorgeous.
And finally, a topper for my tree! I actually already have one, but come on? Jack Skellington is a must.
I have a feeling this could be one of many Christmas themed Friday Favourites. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Aww, I love all these festive things :)
ReplyDeletelovely post - im doing the same as you with the making my own christmas paper - just bought a 5m roll of brown paper for 99p! You thinking of making your own tags too? I want it to be wrapping time already just so i can do it!

This year we are saving our paper bags to use for wrapping paper! We usually use the reverse size (with no logos) and draw or paint designs, but a Christmas-themed stamp is a great idea! It's cheap and a good way to reuse the bags.
ReplyDeleteWe are still in Thanksgiving mode here in the states, but come November 25th we'll be getting into the Christmas spirit.
lOVE these decorations and ideas! Yep, here in the states (like Meg stated) we're in Thanksgiving mode and the day after Thanksgiving is when a lot of Christmas trees go up! Most likely after people are done shopping on Black Friday :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, so actually you guys get to put your trees up even earlier than I do!! Thanks for all the lovely comments this was good fun to put together xx
